Tried 146.45, mostly clear, but unusable on Sunday due to too much voice traffic from LA.  Search for a good frequency to continue.

New Business

USHGA Chapter

Need member info including USHGA numbers.  Information collected at the meeting.  USHGA number and expiration date to be added to web site directory.  Application for chapter to be completed ASAP

Site Insurance

USHGA site insurance rates:  $250 for first site.  $175 for 2nd.  $160 for third

Ojai

Will apply for site insurance after securing USHGA Chapter affiliation.
Claude reports the city is willing to let us use Sarisoti Park for LZ, and the Ojai Foundation is also willing to let us use their property.
Tom reports that all of Ojai can be listed as one site with multiple landowners named on the policy 

Fillmore

Mark Pratt reports that he is going to lease launch rights from one of the owners on the mountain for $250 per month.  He will be the site monitor and must provide a list of pilots authorized to fly under his supervision.  He wants to have the site insured ASAP so he can finalize his lease.  He may work through the SBSA, the Sylmar Club, or the SCPA.
Still interested in purchasing the top of the hill for about $200,000 (300+ acres).  Will contact Bob H. to show the property.  Tom T. and Casey willing to kick in 5K each.
