Yes it was a DIFFERENT day at pine. To say the least we were a bit behind schedual. The winds were up and the day was getting bigger. I actually went down and verbally WARNED pete with watch this and that. He was launching at 2PM ish. The mass of the day and all... Pete is a GOOD pilot and did very well. He hooked a boomer and gained about 1K and then lost it. I personally thought it was his ticket OTB... STEVE from the Bay area was airborn shortly behind PETE. He ran right to PETES boomer and hooked it to 9K plus. Last I heard he was at the end of Apache Canyon and the convergence line was falling a part abit. After that I do not know what happened to him. It looks like the coast will be fogging in more through the weekend. PINE may be the call. PLOWSHARES had some good to decdent Cu's at about 12K blown from the NORTH!~! It may also work well... I am available Sat for crewing. Call me earlyin the AM...
