Well, to add to the weather weirdness, Happy Canyon is probably *on* this evening! (got home to town, went to store 11pm, SW 7 to 10knts on Buellton flags) Normal night wind is 0-4 NNW typically in Solvang/SYV

Another note: strong SE (18knts?) in SYV this afternoon(3pm). WSW is typical direction. Lg. white caps seen from top of 154 several miles off coast. Harbor was >4knts SE. My friends saw 20+mph wind in Goleta and Gaviota, dead in Montecito during the same time period.
