FYI

This weekend is a big family weekend at Thacher including a parent/student TRAP SHOOTING contest (yes, 12 guage shotguns shooting a things that fly) scheduled for 10 AM to 12:30 PM on 5/5. The location of the event is on the north side of campus aiming at the base of Twin Peaks.

While the site is not in an area where we would normally fly unless in serious trouble, most everybody is a pretty good shot, and the angle of aim is low, you should still exercise caution if flying from Chief.
