Day 2--

James Gardner instructed me on proper pitch control and general handling of glider running on ground and short flights. Hey, flying a hang glider STRAIGHT is very cool... So is taking long strides into the air. Unlike PG whereas the final strides are for gracefully letting the wing fly and carry you, in HG each of the last steps helps -directly- obtain *more lift*. (this was my -impression- and what I think I undertstood)

Joe Greblo(Nice guy!) was there supervising the scene--as James G. and Steve of Western Hang Gliders were working on their instructor recertifications.

Elings was mostly a light SSW. Then around 1pm we got a view of Wilcox being WSW, Elings--the upper flags being NNW, and the occasional LZ flags (near portapotty) being SE! --at the same time--
