Eddie and I headed up to Skyport today due to lack of a driver. Got a call from Randall halfway there and debated making the turnaround to fly the Chief again. Opted for the change of scenery from the last two days and were well rewarded. Cycles on launch were tame until 12:30 or so. Chris P launched, scratched, and bailed to St. Mary's. I launched just after he landed, climbed over launch and jammed for the AF. Spent the next hour boating around between 2700 and 3200. Reports at the LZ were that Chris P. had packed up and was *RUNNING*...Yes, with pack and all, back up to launch. He relaunched not long after i landed and had a much better flight than the first shot. By the time Ed got around to thinking about launching the cycles had died back though and rather than blow his knee out making a hard launch he opted to drive down. Maybe next time Ed!
