It was smokin' hot at Skyport, but that doesn't stop desperate men and women. Benson, Tom Beidler, Bob Hurlbett and I pulled into Skyport to find Hesham, Randall, Jeff and Bella watching the limp flag. No hangies in site. Randall launched with a tangle that lessened his mobility, but he got a good glide to Parma. Hesham joined him a short time later. I launched at noon in a decent cycle and got 490 feet over launch and took it to the R&R. There wasn't much happening there and I flushed down the ridge and eventually to Parma. Seeing what I got, Bob took his altitude over launch to the Thermal Factory, boosted again over the Roundhouse and took the glide to East Beach. The hangies came, but most did not do as well as the paragliders. Today was a mild surprise on a relatively flat day.
