I called a 10:30 meet time but was late so I drove up just about the time everyone was arriving at launch. Ron was first off, then Greg, then Sharon and me last. I struggled over launch then headed for the TF where Greg and I kept bumping our heads at 3600'. I played there for awhile until my ears were too cold. I had forgotten my helmet and Ron sd not to worry as he had done it before. I sd since you have done this before why not lend me your helmet? He wouldn't go for it.

The next flight Ron and I exchanged wings. (Bob Hurlbet picked up my helmet for me) I flew Ron's Mistral and he flew my Sigma. For a 1-2 wing it definitely has a lot of energy retention. It turns very nicely, and tho it requires more attention due to the energy it retains it was quite manageable. I did notice the glide was a little less than the Sigma but that would be hard to compare unless we were side by side.

I ck'd the sink rate on full speed bar and the Mistral had a noticeably higher rate than the Sigma on full speed bar. Without more air time on the Mistral my first comparison is that it turns slightly quicker, but does not have the precision of the Sigma. But that has to be tempered by my length of time in the air on the wing. I found it a fun wing to fly, launch and land.

A much more advanced 1-2 then the Epsilon 3 or the Matrix.
