Four vehicles at Nordoff peak! Is that a sign of flying withdrawals in the community?

Seeing the first four pilots off in reasonable cycles gave some hope. Seeing those four pilots working hard to get altitude made it clear the scud clouds in the sky were making the day no where near the potential the weather man forecasted.

Launching on Sat made it clear there needs to be some work done on launch. Either that or we will end up wearing down the scrub brush with our harnesses. Brendan and I both were doing our best to do the latter. Zvi on the other hand was convinced jumping in the middle of the brush and stomping it down might be quicker.

Once I was free of the terrain and made it out front, it was very cool flying wing to wing with the topa flyers. Bob and I went on glide to the HS and we determined the sport and the Sigma's glide was too close to be a difference. But now days all the wings are so much better, it comes down to what makes you smile.
