SA and crew were already up there and waiting when we left Parma at 10:15. When we arrived there were no cycles at all. Within 30 minutes the termites that had been swarming were going airborne with the blossoming thermals. Joe, a long time hang glider, turned paraglider was launched with SA's help. He was going up well but never making any complete turns eventually to make it to Parma. I took advantage of the lull in activity and made it over launch to the R&R. I got up to 3600' but cloud base was hunkering down. I moved down to the Holy Hills but not much was happening. I went over to the AF and played in so so bouyant lift till a mass of wings were heading my direction. Not wanting to fly in a gaggle of wings I took off and landed at Parma.
Second flight that day was not as exciting. I was able to get above launch but came in too low over the TF. I got too low over the east side and limped to the AF. Played there long enough to get up to altitude to make it to Parma.
