Chief's was.....Interesting. Tom P and I ran up there and launch was perfect. Light wind with nice thermals coming up. The cloud street ran between Chief's and Nordhoff and Chief's and the Ojai Foundation then out to sulphur mountain. The spine was REALLY punchy and Tom took a gnarly collapse. Seemed to top out around 5k. There was a nice cumi over twin peaks that we bopped around under before heading out. There were thermals over the valley that kept us up around 3k all the way out to Boccali's which had more cumi's building over it. Chased some thermals over upper ojai then started in for the landing. Tom and I touched down at EXACTLY the same time. Fun day, definitely active flying.
