Sorry Tom my statement was misworded. What I meant was that it was unexpectedly STRONG, not unexpectedly WEST. I do know that the prevailing winds in the valley are out of the West and generally increase in the bottom of the valley but what I encountered was MORE west than I expected. Don't be too hard on the guys...They've done a good job teaching me the nuances..;P
