Tony D and I went to Pine.

IT was a AWSOME day. 11.5k Cloude base and a nice southerly wind with the East backing off. Convergence at its best all in all... Beatiful Cu's at 11 AM an plenty of Anchor to them also. We are talkig about where to go through Panament Valley it looks that good out over the Back. specially out over teh Tehachapis and over Rayes Peak

Leave it to Pine's Micro Meteoroligy to screw that up!~! Cuyama river flow pushed through over PINE only!~! Rayes was in Cloud Heaven. We watch two sets of thermals come through in three hours... That were launchable...

Finlly we began to BREAK down. That solved the Problems ASAP of coarse!~! BOOMING up the front and the EAST came back in... Lots of dust devils and Putting the gear back on the Glider and Tony for that matter.. TONY is OFF!~! It i a RACE to the Antalope Valley.

Tony and I tie in Getting there... Slow climbs was his Excuse... Mine was They had to unburry the road through the Bad lands from the DAYLUGE of Hail an Rain on sunday... 2 hours and 42 miles later were in the car and on the way home...

Good day for Patients and playing your cards right... Definately the day to get off EARLY and ride the convergence all you could...
