Thanks for the comments - I was aware of (and had experienced) much of what you said - but under the controled conditinns of a clinic; and reducing it to practice "on the fly" is clearly another matter. Regarding the cravat being on the outside of the turn - I remember remarking to myself at the time that that was backward and wondered what was up -- probably just my adrenelin levels affecting my memory of whic way I was spiraling.
