Almost Perfect Day at the Cox

Got to Wilcox about 1:00 at lunch. Glenn beat me off launch by about a minute. The wind was coming in relatively straight at about 12. We just went up. We both went west and jumped the gap. I turned back after the restaurant. A kite was showing more west, and the sink started to set in.

Back at the cliff, vet Andy joined us for some near perfect smooth Wilcox conditions. Way fat! Looking down we could see the wings at Moore Mesa. Conditions were perfect for a west to east flight until about 1:30.

Launch was particularly fat. You had to crab out to the inside edge of the kelp beds to get below launch for final. Most excellant lunch.
