Dragisa and I got to the Skyport just before noon, and it was pretty OD'd. Hammer launched his blade as we pulled up and he worked some lite stuff, then headed to his roost. I managed to get a passer by to drive down the eagle chase, then headed down to launch to get laid out.

The sun came out as we unpacked, and the cycles began coming in nicely from the SW as I did my pre flight. I launched my Ambar and climbed 300 over before heading to the factory. Topped out at CB, which was 3900. I had left my compass on my tandem harness from my monday flight, so I B-lined out of the clouds, and pulled an upwind glide to the double R.

Never got above 3400 at the RR, the sun began to shine on the steep rocky ledge to the SW, so I made passes for 20 minutes, but nothing sweet ever came through. I flushed to the tit, and boated in weak stuff for 5 minutes then follwoed the spine to the HH. I worked weak lift just SE of the power lines at the HH for 5-10 minutes. The sun started to shine on the SW spines of the holy hills so I waited for something to release. Hooked a 600 FPM thermal with a sweet core and to it to CB, which was 4000.

I put it on a glide for East Beach. I could see Dragisa heading for Parma below. The Skyport had clouded in after I punched off, and the cycles were weak again by the time Dragisa got off. He managed to work some lift on the RH spine, but couldn't quite connect.

The ocean was filled in pretty good, no caps though. I fell off with the SW on my glide, my heading was just east of the Biltmore. I crossed the freeway with 1500, and decided to check my penetration. I got on half speed and was making good headway, so I decided to make East Beach my LZ. Flew out over the water, and then came back and set her down. I went for my C's after I landed to bring the glider down, the wind was 12-15 out of the SW. Dragisa picked me up in 5 minutes, and I headed home to try and get my taxes completed.
