Glad you could be there for the Convergence. This was a rare occurance at marshall. Im also glad that you found your way back to the LZ, there are a lot of hazards over the valley, one being all the planes that went through there that day. As I posted on the Crestline Soaring Society Pilot report I flew for 3 hours top landed and flew for another 2hours, the problem with going over the back was evident with Matthew carters report on March 19th. I almost went in the late day after the convergence reached Pine Ridge however, I chickend out. XC potential was good for going to Yucaipa too, but only Jerome made it. Noel nwade@earthlink.net
