Being last on the hill to launch it was like I had not ever practiced handling my wing. It was all over the place and trying to lift me facing backwards twice. Tom Beidler was a great help in getting me off the hill and once in the air I immediately went to 4200' from the little knoll in front of west bowl. Flew over wb but did not get any lift and jumped out front where everyone seemed to find lift but found nothing. Headed directly to Cienigitas(sp) and came in 1200' over. Wasted away the good altitude and made a good spot landing. Super clear day and very smooth flight. Glad to get in the air for what looks like a wet one according to the weather man until next Wednesday.
