I took a similar sledder off Solimar last Friday (2/16). At the beach a talked to a retired Shell Oil worker that told me about the area. He said the foreman up there has been there for lots of years and he's an ULTRALIGHT PILOT. He may be on our side. (Sorry don't remember his name).
Hope they're all friendly over there. It's a great place to go for an afternoon flight.
