Comments I'm back from the land of beauty, steep rising cliffs, sandy golden white beaches and blue green oceans. We found the Gravity Sports professionals and their students helpful, kind, supportive and full of aloha spirit. Made me make a resolution to be more outgoing to visiting pilots. In one day we met a couple from Guam, Swiss pilots, Japanese pilots and the scattered American cadre. I got to fly literally what is the cover of the Paragliding magazine. Pictures don't do it justice. For my first ridge soaring experience I soared Makapu which boasts cliffs 1500' high. Quite the thrill! I also flew the West side over a valley used by the military that you can't land in because of unexploded live ammonition. With my penchant for landing out I was very very careful to make it to the gorgeous white sandy beach to land. When we left last night, they were doing a moonlight flight. By the way, they remember Tom from the Nationals. Our instructor is FAMOUS! Aloha, Sharon
