Rat Race and US Nationals 2007

We hope all of you are having a wonderful year.

It has been four months since Rat Race 2006 and 2007 planning and scheduling is underway. We have been busy with everything from attending the recent BOD meeting in San Francisco and trips to Lakeview Oregon to co-ordinate with the local community. We have also traveled to Ruch to meet with the RVHPA and work out details in facilitating the desire to de-link Starthistle Fly-in from Rat Race at Woodrat Mt. Many considerations have been given as we arrived at the schedule for the coming year.

The following schedule of dates should help in your planning and decisions for the upcoming 2007 competition season. No response is needed.

The paragliding events organized by MPH Sports will be back to back. Rat Race has been moved back in the month of June and will now be seven days. Both Competitions have been USHPA sanctioned as well as FAI.

Lakeview Oregon hosts the
Umpteenth Annual Festival of Free Flight. This is a fun fly-in for Hang Glider pilots as well as Paraglider pilots. The dates for this event follow the four days right after nationals.
