Temporary TFR?!

There is no TFR for Santa Barbara area.

Looks like the TFR finally went into the system http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_9_9879.html. I might be driving to Sylmar the middle of next week looking to fly. I'll post if anyone is interested.

For all you airtime deprived pilots out there, I just did a little side project and created a map of the Santa Barbara Airspace in Google Earth. Its not the best that can be done, but it works. Go to this page ( http://www.eagleparagliding.com/?q=node/68 ) and click on the Google Earth map at the bottom of the page to open up a 3 dimensional map of the airspace here.
